The use of white sage dates back to ancient times. It is great for cleansing. It has been used for it's antimicrobial properties, as well as, to repel bugs. Much like beeswax, burning sage creates negative ions that may help neutralize positive ions that irritate asthma and allergy sufferers. It is also said to help relax and uplift one's mood. Lavender has also been used for centuries, and is commonly used in as a component for relaxation reasons.
